Make a Statement using Brick Paper

Posted by Olivia Sum on

Are you a fan of using natural materials when you decorate? Bringing the outside in is a very modern look which is why I especially like the design of feature walls which include a brick effect. There are so many designs you can choose from in a variety of colours. Here are just a few:

  • Lowry brick paper – this is red brick a very classic look
  • Loft brick paper – a worn paper with a mix of whites, browns and reds.
  • Rustic brick wallpaper – a rustic mix of red bricks.
  • Hemingway brick – similar to rustic brick although includes white brick.
  • Holcombe brick – this is white, grey and red with a distressed effect.
  • Koziel brick – this is a white brick.
  • Brick house – this comes in red and brown or in a charcoal effect, the bricks are slightly spread out.

There is a design for every room, what might not fit in your living room may look great in the conservatory and vice versa. I especially love the effect this brick house wallpaper gives. You would never guess it wasn`t real brick. To find a wide variety of brick paper designs go to digitalpaper.shop.

Decorating your Dolls House with Brick Paper

It`s Christmas time a time when children receive many toys, if they`ve been good!  Has your daughter put a dolls house on her Christmas list or maybe they already have one but does it look like a proper house. If the outside is looking a little plain why not give it a realistic look with the help of your brick paper. Go to digitalpaper.shop for a choice of designs.  When you have your chosen brick paper simply glue on using an appropriate adhesive.

Here is what it could look like with a little time and effort.

Kids Play Ideas Using Brick Paper

This is a great way to entertain your young children over the holidays. How about holding your own Wreck it Ralph party. This is what it should look like:

You will need

  • Red brick paper
  • Cardboard boxes
  • Blue and white scrapbook paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Cover your cardboard boxes in red brick paper taking care all the bricks are aligned. When the paper has been cut into shape and glued down add your windows and door by cutting the blue and white scrapbook paper into shape.  Next glue the door and windows in place onto the boxes so they resemble a tall building. And your Wreck it Ralph building is complete. Enjoy knocking it down, building back up and repeat until exhausted.

There are many other things you can do with your brick paper. Such as using it to make stylish envelopes for your cards this Christmas or using it as a background effect on your Christmas cards. Whatever you choose to do with it I`m sure it will look great, so get that creative head on and get searching for your brick paper today using digitalpaper.shop so you can get started.
