How to Make the Most of Your Bokeh Paper

The term “bokeh” comes from the Japanese word boke which means “blur” or “haze or boke-aji which means the “blur-quality”. In photography Bokeh can be simulated by convolving or rolling together the image with a kernel corresponding to the image of an out-of-focus point source taken with a real camera.   This image is an example of a bokeh design made into a greetings card: I love the colours in this stylish Christmassy design the blue background and the overall effect the bokeh has making it look like the baubles in front are floating in a multitude of colourful pink and white baubles....
