7 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Decoupage with Metallic Paper

Using Metallic Paper on Shoes

Are you in need of some new shoes but don’t really want to spend the money on them? Just revamp an old pair of heels. Print your metallic paper and use Mod Podge and foam sponges to glue the paper onto the shoes and add another layer of Mod Podge over the top of the paper for a shine. This is so simple and a lot cheaper than forking out for a new pair of heels.

Using Metallic Paper on a Bicycle

If your bicycle is looking a bit drab these days, give it a bit of love and give it a new style. Do the same as with the shoes and add the metallic paper to where you want it to go on the bicycle and glue it down with Mod Podge. Once dry, add another layer on top and more if it needs it.

Using Metallic Paper on Cabinet Door Knobs

If you don’t want to go as bold as to add metallic paper to your cabinet doors, go for the door knobs instead. It will still refresh the look of your furniture. Unscrew the door knob from the draw and use it to trace around the paper to cut out. Make sure when cutting it out of the paper to cut within the lines so there will be no overlapping paper when gluing it onto the door knobs.

Using Metallic Paper on a Table Top

This is a great idea to give surfaces of tables a bit of a refresh and to add to other home decorations. You can either cover the entire table top with the metallic paper or you can cut the metallic paper smaller than the table top so that the table top itself creates a border.
