Lace Heart Shabby Chic Scrapbook Embellishments

These very cute and very vintage looking shabby chic scrapbook embellishments can be added to any craft project as well as your scrapbook. They are incredibly dreamy to look at and will be sure to add a touch of vintage class.

Here is what you will need to make these gorgeous embellishments:

1. Vintage music paper which you can buy on the digitalpaper.shop website
2. Heart shaped clipart
3. Pearls which you can buy from any craft store or if you have any old necklaces
4. Old Doilies which you have lying round spare
5. Artificial flowers which you can buy from any craft store or if you have old hair accessories you don’t use

How to make them:

1. Download your chosen vintage music paper and heart shaped clipart and open them in Photoshop.
2. Use the marquee tool to transfer the vintage music paper onto the heart clipart so you now have a vintage music heart.
3. Print out however many hearts you want to make and carefully cut out with scissors.
4. Using adhesive, glue three small pearls onto the top left of the heart and also glue a small piece of doily towards the middle of the heart.
5. Using adhesive again, glue down one single artificial flower onto the bottom right of the heart and leave to dry.
6. You will now have your stunning heart embellishment which you can add to your scrapbook or craft project.

Victorian Heart Shabby Chic Scrapbook Embellishments

We just couldn’t help ourselves and decided to go for another heart embellishment... we do love our hearts though don’t we. This time we have gone for Victorian heart shabby chic scrapbook embellishments which can be used for other craft projects as well as your scrapbook such as party invitations, pen pot holders, vintage bunting and vases.

Here is what you will need to make these very vintage and very chic heart embellishments:

1. Different heart clip art shapes; one with a frilled edge
2. A vintage brown paper collection which you can buy from the digitalpaper.shop website.
3. Artificial flowers which you can buy from arts and crafts stores or if you have any old hairbands or broaches you don’t wear anymore.
4. Small pearls which you can buy from any craft store or if you have an old pearl necklace (not real)
5. Lace which you can buy from any fabric store or if you already have old lace lying around from past projects.
6. Small beige buttons which you can also buy from any fabric store or arts and crafts store.

Here is how to make them:

1. Download your chosen vintage brown paper and heart shaped clipart and open them in Photoshop.
2. Use the marquee tool to transfer the vintage brown paper onto the heart clipart so you now have a vintage brown heart.
3. Print out however many hearts you want to make and carefully cut out with scissors.
4. Using adhesive, glue a small flower to the middle of the top of the heart and glue a small pearl to the centre of the flower.
5. You can then add small buttons and lace to your hearts as you please.
6. You will now have your gorgeous heart embellishment which you can add to your scrapbook or craft project.
